Our History – Grow in Tradition

St. Nicholas’ at 2900 Princeton Street was founded in early 1956 by parishioners of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Midland, TX. The first service was held on August 5, 1956. By March of 1958, St. Nicholas’ had become a parish. By the 1990s, it had reached its maximum potential and could no longer expand.

Fund raising led to a new facility situated on 8 acres on Loop 250 North, between Midkiff and Midland Drives. By the grace of God, we are now positioned to become a “city upon a hill”, a beacon of light to bring the message of Christ’s love into the new millennium. Under the leadership of The Rev. James L. Liggett we welcome all who would join us in worship and service.

The mission of St. Nicholas’ Episcopal Church is to reflect the love of Christ and to respect the dignity of all people.
