Food Pantry — The Santa Maria Food Pantry distributes food to underprivileged families on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. The inception of this program saw food provided to approximately 50 families per month. Currently, we’re assisting more than 1,300 people each month!
Angel Threads — Founded in December 2007, this program provides new clothing to underprivileged, single-parent families in our communities. Applications for assistance are available at food pantries and community outreach centers. Through Angel Threads, we hope to reach, touch, and improve the lives of more than 200 individuals in the coming year.
Dominican Republic — We are currently working to provide assistance to extremely underprivileged families and children in a small village in the Dominican Republic. Our congregation generously donated funds to this area several months ago after a hurricane. With your continued support, we hope to provide them with a place for school and worship.
United Thank Offering (UTO) — A spiritual and financial partner in the mission work of The Episcopal Church, the UTO Committee is entrusted to promote, receive, and distribute collections according to the policies of the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society (DFMS) of The Episcopal Church.
The Diaconate in the Episcopal Church — Deacons exist to gather the congregational community into its servant ministry and challenge the Church to always look beyond herself. They are leaders who have a visible ministry to the dispossessed, are willing to undertake the role of the prophet, and will strengthen the servant ministry of the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Northwest Texas.
